Corte

​Brenta , collegata a Cittiglio è posta agli inizi della Valcuvia,

imboccando la Statale che porta a Luino.

Le prime notizie certe sul  Comune di Brenta risalgono alla metà del ' 700. 

Dopo varie vicissitudini della Valcuvia nelle varie organizzazioni territoriali,

.Brenta divenne comune dominante unito a Casalzuigno, Cittiglio e Vararo nel 1809. Solo nel 1952 Brenta diventa comune autonomo.

Attualmente conta circa 1800 abitanti.  

Da qualche anno Brenta è diventato il paese dei  Mosaici a cielo aperto

grazie all'artista del mosaico Arend che vive a Brenta e alla sensibilità dell'amministrazione comunale e dei brentesi, i muri del piccolo borgo hanno acquisito una nuova bellezza.

La Dolce Corte è stata completamente ristrutturata in anni recenti

ed è pronta ad accogliere i suoi ospiti.

Brenta, connected to Cittiglio, is located at the beginning of Valcuvia,

taking the state road that leads to Luino.

The first certain information on the Municipality of Brenta

dates back to the mid-18th century.

After various vicissitudes of Valcuvia in the various

territorial organizations, Brenta became the dominant

municipality united with Casalzuigno, Cittiglio and Vararo in 1809.

Only in 1952 did Brenta become an independent municipality.

It currently has around 1800 inhabitants.

For a few years Brenta has become the town of  open air mosaics 

thanks to the mosaic artist Arend who lives in Brenta

and the sensitivity of the municipal administration

and the people of Brenta, the walls of the small village

have acquired a new beauty.

La Dolce Corte has been completely renovated in recent years

and is ready to welcome its guests.
